Funding Options research into unpaid tax published by Bloomberg

Bloomberg has published research by Funding Options into how much is owed by UK businesses to HMRC. 

In a story about how well businesses are preparing for a no-deal Brexit, Bloomberg reports that our research has shown a rise in the amount of unpaid VAT and corporation tax compared to the previous year – businesses are delaying their tax payments to pay for their day-to-day operations.

We reported in October 2018 that there had been a 14% increase in overdue VAT and corporation tax bills from UK businesses, totalling £5billion.
